by | Apr 18, 2024

The FLeD project, a consortium of six European universities, held its Second Transnational Project Meeting on April 16-17 at Pompeu Fabra University, attended by 14 academics on the first day and 11 on the second.

During the meeting, a comprehensive overview of the current state of the FLeD project was presented, highlighting the most significant developments: the creation of pedagogical resources, the implementation of the pilot plan, the development of the “FLeD Tool,” and the dissemination of results through various media.

The valuable contributions of professors from different educational levels were acknowledged, along with the positive assessment of dissemination activities by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE).

In the pedagogical phase, five open resources have been generated, available in the “Project Development” section of this website, with respective links. In the pilot phase, 21 pairs of teachers designed their flexible learning scenarios using the FLeD tool. As part of the dissemination, 11 blog posts related to the project have been published, and future seminars and webinars are planned, as to expand the project’s impact. The evaluation of inclusiveness was another central theme, exploring three possible scenarios to assess the inclusion of students with special educational needs. Pre and post-pilot surveys were completed to evaluate the impact.

Looking ahead, the FLeD tool and the open resources that have been generated will be translated into all project languages by December 2024. The next transnational meeting and multiplier event will take place in April 2025.

The Transnational Meeting of the FLeD project was crucial for sharing progress, ensuring the development of objectives focused on facilitating the design of flexible and effective learning scenarios for teachers, and guiding the application of the flipped classroom model using digital pedagogies and technologies to promote sustained change towards flexible education.
